E-mail database archive
The contents of all intercepted messages (including letter attributes and attached files) gets indexed and placed into storage. This creates a unique archive of the company’s e-mail database.
When a letter is deleted from the mail client (either accidentally or on purpose), the information it contained will still be available for search for a certain period of time.
Even if something goes wrong with the corporate mail server, restoring which is always unpleasant and costly both resource and time-wise, the data intercepted by MailSniffer will be sort of a backup of the company’s whole mail database.
