Ability to create multiple indexes to identify plagiarism with maximum accuracy

In order for PlagiatInform system to function properly at least one search index needs to be created.

Search index is like a large information database, in which all the specially transformed text components of all the indexed files are stored. It is due to indexes that the program maintains such a high search speed.

Creating multiple indexes in PlagiatInform allows you to use different search options and conduct search for plagiarism separately through each index. PlagiatInform system can create indexes with text blocks consisting of a sentence, a paragraph, multiple paragraphs, or even a certain number of words based on user’s preferences. The smaller the text block is the more accurate will the system identify the percentage of plagiarism the text contains. However, the search speed gets smaller once you use smaller text blocks as well.

At first, search is conducted through the index where the document being checked is compared to all the files in the index. If the fact of plagiarism is not established, the search is then conducted through the second index, where the documents are divided into paragraphs. The document being checked is also compared by paragraphs. This type of search is slower than the first one, but it better recognizes the fact of plagiarism and gives more accurate results.
